An introduction to our methods for beginners:
Wellness Orientation
We’ll meet at a café or a smoothie bar to discuss your personal history, goals, and current wellness level, and then we’ll devise a unique plan to help you work toward and accomplish your goals.
Home Habit Makeover
We’ll give a “Feng Shui” makeover to your residence, which will include rearranging your kitchen to promote healthier eating, creating a designated workout area to get you motivated to move, and generally adjusting your home in a way that discourages bad habits and promotes healthy ones.
Introduction to the Gym
For those who are intimidated by crowded fitness facilities, whether it be from the social anxiety of being in a room full of strangers, the awkwardness of not knowing how to utilize the equipment, or the fear of being stared at and judged for violating etiquette. We’ll schedule a time to go together, so I can show you the ropes and help you meet new people.

Group Classes
Weekly sessions offered on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays:
Yoga
Yoga classes taught outdoors. We’ll be focusing on restorative poses, self-reflection, and breathing techniques, all to help cultivate mindfulness.
Functional training
An alternative to traditional gym training. Functional training sessions develop our muscles to support us in the many ways that we move, both outdoors and in our everyday lives. We’ll be learning how to balance on unfamiliar equipment and surfaces, run and jump with proper form to prevent injury, and adapt to the challenges of a new and changing environment, all to facilitate functional fitness.
Outdoorsmanship
For those who have never gone camping or are intimidated by the thought of spending the night in the outdoors alone. A group camping program where we’ll cover basic nature safety and hiking tips such as how to pack a backpack, how to pitch a tent, and much more.

Wellness coaching
One-on-one meetings to help you achieve your wellness goals. We’ll meet to discuss your health history and objectives and devise a plan to get you where you want to be. I will hold you accountable for your progress with regular calls, in-person meetings, and daily check-ins.
Yoga
Private yoga sessions to improve your total health— Not only will yoga help you improve physically, but it will also contribute to your mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.

Monday Evening: Yin Yoga is a slower-paced style of yoga. It incorporates asanas that are held for longer periods than in other styles of yoga. Along with deep breathing, it leads to a deep level of full-body relaxation.
Wednesday & Saturday morning: Wednesday & Saturday morning: “Movement play” fitness flow class accessible to everyone. Get moving in a fun and playful way.

Intro to Adventures
A 1-day retreat near the beautiful Blue Ridge mountain range. Starting at 10 am Saturday, we’ll engage in wellness activities outdoors. Activities include hiking Bear’s Den and/or Raven’s Rock, attending local wineries and breweries after the hike, practicing yoga outdoors, playing with farm animals, making music by the campfire, having conversations under the stars, and much more.
